Zugspitze, Eibsee

Weekend trip to Zugspitze

We drove south to spend some days in the Bavarian Alps.

Why Zugspitze?
Because we wanted to explore the area around Zugspitze and hike around the picturesque alpine lake, Eibsee. We have been in the area many times, but never had the time to do a stop.

Was it really worth?
 Yes, absolutely!
We found the crystal-clear, emerald-colored Lake Eibsee, and it was even more spectacular than expected. We did an early morning hike around the lake, and it was stunning. We found some nice spots, where we could relax and enjoy the view of the lake reflecting the mountains and trees.
